Version 0.1.30a contains a bug that leads to invalid rout paths. The rout path shown contains non-center locations (external or base) and Units would have to select those in order to rout away. This also means that they would end up in those locations (illegally). A fix will be included with the next update. In the meantime, please select the appropriate hex of the rout path and then select the base or external location in the Hex Inspector, this should allow you to rout away (Command button becomes available). In the next movement phase you can simply move your units so they can leave those non-center locations.
